Emma has worked as a Clinical Psychologist with a diverse range of clientele since 2001. She has worked in Forensic Clinical Psychology; Clinical Neuropsychology; and Community Clinical Psychology in Ireland, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. She has supervised colleagues from a range of disciplines and lectured at Bristol, Bath and Oxford Universities.
Emma maintains a specialist interest in the challenges presented bypersistent physical health symptoms and adjustment to physical health diagnoses and changes in ability. She can help you manage the fear and uncertainty of symptoms for which no medical diagnosis has been found, and the challenges this presents to everyday life. She also worked on the CoBalT trial into CBT for treatment-resistant depression and enjoys supporting others in managing the many challenges life can present. She has undergone further specialist training in a number of Cognitive Therapies including: Mindfulness-based CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and adheres to professional body Continuing Professional Development requirements.

Emma is Chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered to practice as a Clinical Psychologist by the Health Professions Council (HCPC). She has full British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapies accreditation (BABCP). She holds professional liability insurance and Enhanced DBS (Criminal Records) clearance.
