Her training has been shaped by some of the leading voices in trauma and psychotherapy. Amber holds a Master’s degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy and is trained in Internal Family Systems, Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment, and Deep Brain Reorienting. She is currently advancing her expertise in Somatic Experiencing. Her approach is grounded in somatic attunement and relational depth, supporting meaningful, enduring change by meeting each person’s unique experience with care, respect, and clinical precision.

Amber Can Help With;
Originally from Malta, Amber’s professional journey has taken her across diverse settings and cultural contexts. She has held senior leadership and specialist consultation roles, collaborated with international NGOs, and contributed to mental health education through university teaching and professional development. Early in her career, she helped establish one of Malta’s first suicide-prevention therapeutic support teams and worked extensively with survivors of crime, domestic violence, and trauma.
In her practice, Amber strives to hold every client’s story with professionalism, discretion, and unwavering respect. She aims to create a safe, supportive space where clients are truly seen and heard, and where therapy unfolds in ways that are attuned to each person’s pace, nervous system, and evolving inner landscape. She works at the level where trauma lives, in the nervous system, supporting clients to move out of survival mode. When that shifts, everything else reorganises.
