Reflexology In Cirencester

Reflexology is an ancient therapy which balances the body through work on the feet, hands and face.  Pressure is applied to reflex points which are linked by energy pathways to all parts of the body.  It restores balance and harmony to your entire body while also helping your symptoms and the cause.

Who can benefit from Reflexology?

The elderly, women (including pregnancy), men and children can all benefit from reflexology.  Babies and children respond well as they are naturally relaxed and their bodies are very responsive.

How does Reflexology work?

Wherever there is an imbalance or illness in the body, the corresponding area in the foot may be tender or painful.  This may indicate crystal deposits, a build up of waste products or blockages in your energy channels. Carefully working over these areas with the thumbs and fingers will break up any deposits or waste and clear any blockages thus restoring the body’s flow of energy in a natural and safe way.

Hand Reflexology

Hand Reflexology is a form of holistic healing that originated in China 5000 years ago.

It works by stimulating the nerve endings of the hands to bring about deep relaxation.  More modern approaches work to harmonise imbalances within the body systems to achieve homeostasis.

Hand Reflexology can support Foot Reflexology and act as a  reinforcement for reflex points found on the feet or it can be a stand-alone treatment.

Face Reflexology

Facial Reflexology helps to release tension and emotions in the face. The treatment can be carried out on the face, neck and shoulders.  It helps to support emotional processing, relax the nervous system and promote rejuvenation of the facial structure.
